We will be open on July 11th for the Town of Carthage Bicentennial. We will be having a blacksmith shop set up and possible pottery vendor. We will be selling tickets on the quilt and we have small things for sale along with copies of the Pines and Pioneers book. We will be open from around 9 am to 4 pm at which time we will draw the winning ticket for the quilt. The Model T will be on display.

We are having a raffle for this quilt. It was given to the Historical Society by Lorna Hutchinson. The tickets are $.50 or three for a dollar. The drawing will be July 11 at 4 p.m.

Our Curator, Jackie, has been working hard cleaning, organizing and cataloging everything in the building.

Membership fees are $5.00 to join for one year January to December per person or $15 for a family. Lifetime memberships for 55 years & over are $50 single and $75 for a couple and lifetime memberships for 54 years and under are $75 single and $100 for a couple.
