Welcome to our 2026 Bicentennial.

Carthage was incorporated on February 20, 1826. Our 200th celebration will take place on July 11, 2026 based at the Town office at 703 Carthage Road. We will be having a parade, vendors, food trucks and games. The Historical Society will be open to the public. Our coordinator, Cindy Hutchinson, has been working hard on putting things in place. Over the last three years she and her team have worked tirelessly at fund raising for the event and they have a wonderful event planned.
